Dr. Ghassan Mohamed

EDUCATION:

Dr. Ghassan Mohamed started his higher education in 1986 at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in the Medical University – Sofia. In 1992, he acquired his master’s degree in dental medicine.
He continues his education by specializing in the department of maxillofacial and oral surgery with plastics in the Medical University – Sofia. In 1999, he acquired the specialty Oral surgery.
He also has completed a Masterclass in Immediate Loading Implantation in Budva, Montenegro in 2017, organized by the International immediate loading implantation foundation.

MANAGEMENT:

After he had been managing his private dental practice for a few years, in 2001, under the motto “Care and responsibility for your health”, Dr. Mohamed established the Medico-dental clinic Medstom in the center of Sofia, where dental, as well as medical and laboratory services and examinations are being provided.
In 2002 he received a professional qualification in Health Management in the Institute for postgraduate qualification of the UNWE. Within the period 2009 – 2013, he kept visiting seminars in dental management by international speakers.
In 2013, he founded a new specialized Dental clinic and received a certificate for compliance with the quality requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
He received an awards for a Dental Clinic Manager and Modern dental practice with successful management in 2013.

I. IN THE FIELD OF DENTAL PROSTHESIS IMPLANTATION:

- Conventional implantology:
Attending international congresses and forums, awarded with internationally acknowledged certificates and attendance of practical and theoretical courses for world famous implantation systems: - IMZ (Germany) – 1997, SIP (Bulgaria) – 2002, Ankylos (Germany) – 2005, Endure (USA) – 2007, Titanum fix. - Immediate loading implantology:
In the period 2012 – 2017 he attended five levels of Practical ant Theoretical courses in basal implants with immediate loading, certified by the International Implants Foundation (Munich) under the leadership of Prof.Ihde. He also attended many international congresses and forums with discussions of topics related to immediate and functional implantation – 2016 (Austria), 2017 (Montenegro), 2018 (Belgrade, Serbia), 2018 (Saint Petersburg, Russia).  2023 "BASAL IMPLANTOLOGY-LIMITATIONS FREE" Implantswiss training, prof. Veerendra Kumar (Sofia, Bulgaria), 2024 the 6th International Symposium Aim Academy (Antalya, Turkey).

II. IN THE FIELD OF PARODONTOLOGY AND AESTHETIC TREATMENT:

Attendance of theoretical and practical courses in aesthetic dentistry in the period from 2007 till 2008: Ceramic inlays and veneers – Assoc. Prof. Kisov, Opportunities of the modern cosmetic surgery in the field of the face, Facial aesthetics of the smile, fillers in the facial area, Direct compositional veneering (Componeer), Aesthetic solutions with porcelain veneers with planning and full clinical protocol for the creation, Aesthetic parodontology - Prof. Andre Saadun, Functional, aesthetic rehabilitation– Claudio Nannini.

Dietmar Segner and Dr. Dagmar Ibe – Germany, Fixed technique of the DAEMON SYSTEM – Dr. Galina Nasteva – Dimova.

IV. IN THE FILED OF THE X-RAY:

In 2004, after the completion of the education course, he received an authorizing certificate for working with x-ray diagnostic dental apparatus by the NCRRP.

A member of the Bulgarian Dental Association, the Association of the Bulgarian Dentists, and the Bulgarian Association of Oral Implantology.
A member of the International Implantology Foundation – Munich, Germany.
He participated in over 70 national and international seminars, symposiums and congresses.
