In order for our teeth to be white and healthy, it is necessary to clean them twice a day with a brush and toothpaste. However, daily cleaning does not solve all the problems in the oral cavity, so it is extremely important to follow the preventive visits to the dentist twice a year.
Thanks to regular visits to the dentist,
good dental hygiene and good dental habits, problems in the oral cavity can be minimized. For this reason, we advise our patients to visit their dentist, not only to monitor the condition of their teeth, but also to receive competent advice on the most
effective ways to maintain good oral and dental health.
Caries is the most common disease that leads to the destruction of the hard tissues of the teeth. The susceptibility of teeth to caries depends on diet, level of oral hygiene and individual resistance.
The symptoms in the initial stage of caries are darker or more
light spots between the teeth or on the chewing surface of the tooth. When the process is advanced, pain is felt in hot, cold, sweet, pressure on the tooth, etc., and when the front teeth are affected, the aesthetic appearance of the face is disturbed.
The treatment of caries takes place in one visit, but there are cases when it comes to the so-called deep caries,
in which several visits are required before it is completed. Anesthesia is applied, the affected part of the tooth is cleaned and extremely precise restoration of the tooth structures such as shape, color and size is performed by filling.
The filling can be made directly in the patient's mouth from photopolymer or other material in a dental laboratory (photopolymer inserts (inlays), porcelain inserts (inlays, onlays, overlays), cast inserts (metal) according to the indications, the assessment of your dentist and your desire.
The methods of conservative dentistry can be successfully used in the restoration of fractured dental crowns with photocomposite, aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth with abnormal enamel or dentin (enamel, dentinal dysplasia) and other defects of the dental crown.
